A fresh shot from season three of “House of the Dragon” has surfaced online.
The image centers on Tom Glynn-Carney (“Dunkirk”) as Aegon II Targaryen — half-concealed, uneasy; something (or someone) lurks beyond the frame.
“From fire. Into shadow,” — reads the caption of the shot.
The Dance of the Dragons slips into nastier, more tangled territory. Alliances fray, kin turn predator, and the struggle for the Westeros throne spreads outward; big fights look likely, and dragons are very much in play (w/ flames and fury).
Familiar faces return: Matt Smith (“The Crown”), Emma D'Arcy (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Rhys Ifans (“Starving Games”), Steve Toussaint (“Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time”), Fabien Frankel (“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning”), Ewen Mitchell (“Wuthering Heights”), among others. New additions to the cast include James Norton (“The Capture”), Tommy Flanagan (“Sons of Anarchy”), Dan Fogler (“Fantastic Beasts”), Tom Cullen (“Becoming Elizabeth”), Chukwudi Iwuji (“Andor”), Barry Sloane (“Revenge”), and Annie Shapiro (“Red Skies”).
Earlier, a teaser trailer for the third season was released.
