Hypnosis, Manipulation, and Family Secrets: Horror Game Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy Announced

Stormind Games studio has revealed a new entry in the Remothered saga, Red Nun's Legacy. The target is a release before year-end on PC and consoles.

The story is set thirteen months after six girls vanish in Sicily. Susan, the protagonist, receives a strange recording that hints her daughter might still be alive; against the odds she travels to the derelict Ashmann family estate tucked on Mount Etna’s slopes (i.e., the volcano looms as more than scenery). The setup feels personal and claustrophobic, not an exposé.

What starts as a frantic hunt splinters into something worse. Pursuers close in, the Ashmann past refuses to stay buried, and the boundary between reality and something else begins to fray — slow, uncomfortable, then abrupt.

As for gameplay, the studio says the title keeps a survival-horror core with stealth sections and psychological tension. Expect more interactive bits and perception-driven tricks, e.g., hypnosis mechanics and systems that distort what the player sees. They promise it will speak to newcomers and long-time players alike — whether it actually lands that way remains to be seen.
