Dvora Studio and Headup have set an April 30 release for The Coma 3: Bloodlines on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
This entry is billed as the next main installment — and, reportedly, the concluding chapter — of the long-running Korean horror saga. After years of tense corridors and strange dreams, some players may welcome closure; others might miss the uncertainty that built the series’ tone.
The Coma made its name as a 2D side-scroller that leans heavily on stealth and puzzle-driven exploration, with story beats woven through the environments (i.e., the game’s atmosphere does a lot of the storytelling). The format feels intimate rather than cinematic; encounters tend to be about avoidance and discovery more than spectacle.
Bloodlines follows Yeon Ho and his companions as they confront new dangers tied to the world of Coma. Rather than staying inside school walls this time, the game opens up to regions inspired by real South Korean locales — not a travelogue, but a shift in geography that changes how the tension plays out.
Mechanically, survival remains central: you’ll hide, search for clues, and piece puzzles together to advance the mystery. There are three playable characters, each with unique abilities that alter combat and problem-solving approaches — e.g., one may favor stealth, another can handle direct fights — so your strategy changes with who you pick and how you want to tackle a scene.
