Insider: Nintendo to Hold Full-Scale Game Presentation Next Week
Verified insider NateTheHate reported that Nintendo intends to hold its first full-scale game presentation for 2026 as early as next week. The broadcast is reportedly scheduled for February 5th, although NateTheHate himself urged treating this information with skepticism until it is confirmed by "his best sources." If the insider information turns out to be a simple hoax, NateTheHate promised to notify everyone as soon as possible.
To my knowledge, the first full-scale Nintendo Direct broadcast in 2026 will take place in the first week of February. ... It could just as easily be a Partner Presentation, but personally, I hope it's a general Direct so Nintendo can start the new year on a high note — talking about some games coming in 2026 and announcing what the company has planned for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. Simultaneously with this insider report, Nintendo employees themselves announced a separate Direct, which will start on January 29th at 17:00 Moscow Time and will be entirely dedicated to Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
