The developers of Helldivers 2 have unveiled the next Warbond — Siege Breakers. It will delight players of the cooperative shooter on February 3rd, but you can already get a closer look at the contents of the premium Warbond — the new arsenal is showcased in a gameplay trailer.
The epic demonstration, filled with numerous explosions, starts with armor. The medium armor SA-7 Headfirst provides the perfect balance between mobility and protection — just right for breaking through an enemy blockade. Meanwhile, the heavy SA-8 Ram set will turn its wearer into a "striking force" during an assault. Naturally, the armor comes with capes matching the Warbond's aggressive theme.
However, both protective sets have another surprise in store. It's a passive skill that restores players' stamina when they take damage. This makes gamers an "unstoppable battering ram."
Weaponry is what every Helldiver loves. The Siege Breakers Warbond is packed with new items. For example, an improved version of the LAS-16 Trident, as well as the mighty hammer CQC-20 Breaching Hammer — you can even attach explosives to it. And the GL-28 Belt-Fed grenade launcher will help saturate the battlefield with explosives through continuous fire — the belt-fed ammunition speaks for itself.
The premium Warbond also includes the G/SH-39 — a throwable item that creates a shield around itself.
As is traditional for all Warbonds, Siege Breakers will include emotes and profile customization items.
Recall that earlier this month, Helldivers 2 received the Redacted Regiment Warbond. Also, the game has made the rear-echelon Commando missions available.
