Helldivers 2 Fans Challenge Developers for $2000

A Reddit user calling themselves Key_Complex_150 posted an unusual dare aimed at the makers of Helldivers 2. They're putting money behind it — $1,000 USD, which they'd give to whatever charity the studio chooses.

The catch is specific: four studio employees must record and publish a video showing them finish a full operation on planet Oshawn at the tenth difficulty, i.e., Super Helldive. All objectives in each of the three missions from the current Major Order must be completed. The run has to be in the game's current state, no mods or workarounds allowed (stock game only).

The originator made a point of being serious about this: "Show us how it's done and how well-balanced the game is. I will provide all my real data, proof of payment, and am ready to sign a legally binding contract."

The idea picked up steam in the comments. One other user said they'd match the offer under the same rules: "You know what, screw it. I agree to all the same conditions as the original poster. I will donate $1000 to a charity of Arrowhead’s choice if they meet the original poster’s requirements, and also agree to formalize it as a real legally binding contract."

Put together, that would make up to $2,000 USD pledged — assuming the devs accept and the run is completed as requested.
