Hearthstone Launches "Wave 2 – Madness and Death" Event
The thematic event leading up to the release of the new expansion has begun in Hearthstone. It's called "Wave 2 – Madness and Death" and will last for three weeks, until March 17.
Participants of the event can compete for valuable rewards, including card packs from the upcoming expansion, a unique hero skin, and other bonuses. To earn them, players need to complete a chain of weekly quests and accumulate event experience.
Quest list:
- "Call of the Dragon Hunters." Spend 750 mana in Standard modes. Bonus points: +1 for playing in Ranked mode, +2 for using Legendary cards.
- "Darkness in the Dragonlands." Summon or destroy 750 minions in Standard modes. Bonuses: +1 for completing in Ranked mode, +1 for Dragons, +1 for Undead.
- "Send It Back to the Grave." Play 750 cards in Standard modes. Bonus points: +1 in Ranked mode, +1 in the Pre-Expansion Brawl, +2 for Cataclysm cards.
For successfully completing the quests, players will receive the following rewards:
- 2 regular and golden "Black Iron Harbinger" cards;
- A "Timeways" card pack;
- 2 regular and golden "Doom Acolyte" cards;
- 3 "Cataclysm" card packs;
- 2 Tavern Tickets;
- The "Cho'gall of the Twilight's Hammer" Mage skin.
