Marvel Rivals Adds Museum Map and Event with New Psylocke Skin

The hero shooter Marvel Rivals has received a fresh update as part of its first season, bringing a wealth of new content.

For instance, Times Square now features a Fight Club. Players are invited to prove "who's the boss in the chronoverse" in duels against other real gamers.

For those who prefer team battles, the new update introduces the "Museum of Contemplation" map. Here, players must escort a payload (or prevent the opposing team from doing so). This new combat arena boasts a large collection of exhibits from across the universe. You can get a closer look at the location in the overview trailer.

No major Marvel Rivals patch is complete without cosmetic content. A trio of new skins is hidden within the limited-time Flight Mode event. Its free version, available until February 19, allows players to earn a disco-themed costume for Hela. Meanwhile, the premium version, with no time limit, instantly unlocks a new outfit for Spider-Man. Maxing out the event rewards grants another look for Psylocke—this time featuring a skirt.

By the way, if you dance near a player wearing one of these three costumes in the Times Square club, you can earn 100 Units for purchases in the in-game shop. This promotion will run for a week.

Starting January 30, costumes for Angela and Emma Frost will be available for purchase in the shop. Both are designed with a playing card theme and will be sold without a time limit.

The update also includes balance adjustments, changes, and bug fixes. One of the most notable changes is the reduced frequency of Deadpool and Galactus's voice lines during negotiations, which will now only be heard by the player controlling the chatty mercenary.
