Electronic Arts has announced a major expansion, "Through the Ages" (Royalty and Legacy), for The Sims 4. This 21st add-on is entirely dedicated to the life of the nobility, inviting players to immerse themselves in the world of royal dynasties and palace intrigues.
The main new features will be mechanics for managing a noble house, power struggles, and hosting luxurious balls. For the first time in the series, a fencing system will be introduced, allowing Sims to settle their differences through noble sword duels.
Details about the three new dynasties will be revealed by the developers on January 29th in a separate gameplay video.
The release of the "Through the Ages" expansion is scheduled for February 12, 2026.
