Gameplay of the Aphelion Adventure Action Game
Don't Nod unveils the atmosphere of the adventure action game Aphelion. In a fresh trailer, the music takes center stage, setting the tone for a dark space survival experience developed in consultation with the European Space Agency.
The story is set in 2060, where the last hope is a mission to Persephone, a mysterious ninth ghost planet on the outskirts of the system. But hope collapses along with the ship. Two astronauts, Ariana and Thomas, find themselves in an icy trap, separated, with the sole goal of finding each other in a world clearly unwelcome to visitors.
The game is built on contrast. With Ariana, it's about parkour and speed, while the injured Thomas relies on caution and deduction. No guns, only the tools of the spacesuit and their own wits. The planet tests not just agility but cleverness: dynamic weather, hostile fauna, and the quiet terror of open space become the main adversaries.
