GameNative Opens Access to Epic Games Store on Android in Experimental Update

The GameNative project, which allows running PC games on Android devices, has released a significant update. Users can now directly access their game library from the Epic Games Store on mobile devices.

To connect to the service, users need to complete a simple authorization procedure in the GameNative settings: log into their Epic Games account using a special authentication key. After synchronization is complete, the app will display the full list of available games for download.

The developers emphasize that this feature currently has experimental status and is in the early stages of development. In the current version, users will encounter certain limitations. Specifically, support for online modes in games is not yet available. Furthermore, launching more resource-intensive projects may require manual configuration of graphics drivers and other system parameters. The project team promises to address these shortcomings in future updates.

It is worth noting that the integration with the Epic Games Store is a logical continuation of the emulator's development — GameNative had previously implemented support for the Steam and GOG platforms.

For an optimal gaming experience, the developers recommend using Android devices with a powerful processor and increased RAM. This is especially relevant when launching projects originally designed for personal computers.

Current versions of the application, as well as the project's source code, are available in the GitHub repository and through the developers' Discord community.
