Famitsu's newest print issue is out, carrying the magazine's familiar four-reviewer format: each game is judged by four independents who hand out scores of 0–10, so totals top out at 40 pts.
Biggest splash this time was Forza Horizon 6 — it landed a hefty 37/40 and one critic went as far as a perfect 10. Famitsu slapped its "platinum" label on the title; whether that settles the matter is another conversation (I'm mildly impressed, but not shocked).
On the other side of the aisle, eFootball Kick-Off posted a respectable 34. A-Train 9 Evolution came in at 31. Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi for Switch drew a warm reception from fans and reviewers alike, scoring 33 — only a point behind the football sim.
Least favorable showing belonged to the detective yarn The Last Case of John Morley, which mustered just 27. Critics kept to a dour, familiar script — calling it derivative — and handed out three 7s and a 6.
