revealed the lineup of multiplayer modes coming to Forza Horizon 6. The launch is only a couple of weeks away; devs are drip-feeding details.
Some modes will feel familiar to series vets, while others aim to shake things up — expect a mix, not a catalog. Veterans will spot Horizon Racing (varied track types) and Horizon Drift (championship-style events). There’s also The Eliminator — basically a car-based battle royale where the last driver standing wins — plus Hide & Seek, which splits players into hiders and seekers (one driver blends with traffic; the rest try to find them).
Horizon Play is your go-to suite for multiplayer game modes. Enjoy classics like The Eliminator and new modes including Spec Racing and Touge Showdown. Which one do you want to try first?
New additions: Spec Racing and Touge Showdown. In Spec Racing everyone gets the same car (i.e., identical specs) — so no whining about a rival’s "maxed-out build"; it’s driving skill (and a dash of luck) that counts. Touge Showdown takes cues from Japanese mountain roads and the culture around them — think tense one-on-one duels on tight hairpins, very technical, very narrow.
You can jump in and start messing with opponents’ Deja Vu in Forza Horizon 6 on May 19 for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series (incl. Game Pass). Pre-orders of the premium edition unlock an earlier start on May 15. The studio will add Russian text translation; PlayStation 5 owners must wait — that version is due sometime in 2026.
