The Red Dead Redemption 2 player community recently discovered a series of mysterious clues and hints pointing to an as-yet-unrevealed Easter egg, sparking heated discussions. Former Rockstar Games quality assurance (QA) specialist Adam Butterworth officially confirmed in a social media post that the clues were placed intentionally.
In his message, Butterworth admitted he was genuinely surprised that players had found the clues. "It's absolutely insane that people found this. I remember hearing about it and thinking it would never be discovered."
These hidden elements have been present in the game since its release in 2018. Despite the lack of substantial updates from Rockstar Games that could indicate the recent addition of clues, they have remained untouched all these years.
As of now, the studio remains silent regarding the ongoing community "hunt" for the solution. Rockstar is not providing official comments and is not intervening in the process, allowing players to independently explore the hidden puzzles and build theories.
