EA Moves Battlefield 6 Season 2 to February 17th and Schedules an Update for January 20th
Electronic Arts has officially postponed the launch of Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 2 to next month. It was originally scheduled to start on January 20th, but now fans will have to wait until February 17th. The developers decided to give themselves extra time to polish and improve the upcoming season. Details about the new content will also be revealed in February.
However, on January 20th, Battlefield 6 will receive an update that will extend and expand Season 1. It will include new weekly missions, double XP events, a bonus Frostfire track (opening on January 27th), and new additions to the battle pass.
Furthermore, the developers will continue to actively utilize Battlefield Labs, the platform for previewing future game updates, including content for Season 2. Recall that the program was reinstated last month.
