Dying Light: The Beast will receive the Restored Land edition with new content on March 26

Techland revealed a new edition of Dying Light: The Beast — subtitled Restored Land — scheduled for March 26 and free for players who already own the game.

This release packages the original title and every post-launch update together, plus a sizable addition that takes the name Restored Land.

That addition shifts the tone toward solo, high-stakes survival: you’re expected to clear the map of zombies while resources dwindle. Corpses do not respawn and loot/resources won’t reappear — i.e., once something’s taken, it’s gone. Supplies are scarce in containers and stores (and cost more), so scavenging decisions actually sting.

The team tightened hunger and flashlight mechanics, meaning you’ll be hunting for food and batteries all the time (e.g., rummaging through every corner). Most activities are only playable once — no replaying the same events for easy gains.

On top of that there’s an optional permadeath mode (one death = restart), competitive Roadkill Rallies, new achievements, various improvements and tweaks, etc. If you enjoy tense, unforgiving runs, this one looks built to make you sweat.
