A reborn dragon with an extensive harem awaits you in the new game Dragon Traveler HongKong GameTree LIMITED studio has announced the release of Dragon Traveler, an anime RPG where the main character gets a legendary dragon body and a whole brood of enthusiastic followers.
The game can be downloaded on PC via the official launcher — apparently, the developers decided that Steam is not trendy these days. iOS users can find the game in the App Store, while Android fans can find it on Google Play or as an APK file. However, the game does not yet support Russian — it communicates exclusively in the language of anime clichés and pixelated beauty.
There has been a delay with the Steam release. Initially, it was planned that the game would appear there simultaneously with the main launch, but Valve moderators turned the review into a real marathon. Now the release date in the popular store is shrouded in a fog of uncertainty — like ancient dragon treasures. The developers promise to share news when they defeat the bureaucratic dragons. The game's plot is an ironic version of the classic isekai. You become the dragon Fafnir, but not the fearsome serpent of legend, but rather a couch lord who prefers to sleep sweetly instead of performing heroic deeds. The story is presented in small portions: episodes lasting several minutes will allow you to exchange meaningful glances with the tsundere princess, make the ice queen blush, and be touched by the embrace of the cute villainess loli. In general, everything is as it should be in the genre — only with a good-natured grin.
The gameplay is based on Idle RPG mechanics: you can do almost nothing, and resources will flow into your dragon's paws on their own. The developers clearly took pity on those who are tired of endless grinding. Here, a rare hero is guaranteed to drop after a maximum of 50 summon attempts — no more agonizing "ten more spins." And the in-game currency is generously distributed: just log into the game and complete daily tasks. Even the laziest dragon (that is, you) can handle it without much effort. Among the interesting features is the social interaction system. The closer you get to the heroines, the more exclusive scenes and dialogues are unlocked. There is also a combat system, albeit an automated one: you just need to activate the "Dragon Soul" at the right moment to effectively turn the tide of battle. After all, even a lazy dragon should be able to impress.
The HongKong GameTree LIMITED team honestly admits that their main goal is to create an "anti-stress" product. There are no epic tragedies or heavy drama in Dragon Traveler — just light humor, bright colors, and an atmosphere of carefree entertainment.
