NVIDIA's Reverse Gear - The Latest Driver Proved Too Buggy and Was Recalled
NVIDIA was forced to take a radical step and completely recall its latest GeForce 595.59 WHQL Game Ready driver version. The release, which was supposed to improve performance in recent games, turned into a real nightmare for graphics card owners — shortly after its launch, the internet was flooded with reports of critical errors, blue screens of death, sharp performance drops, and numerous graphical bugs.
The scale of the problems proved so severe that the company removed the driver from its official website and from the GeForce Experience application. Users complained not only about standard game crashes but also about very strange bugs — some had their graphics cards stop being detected by the system, others started experiencing monitor flickering issues even during normal browser use, and some were hit by a bug that disabled part of the GPU cooling system's fans.
As a result, the current driver version remains the one from a month ago, without optimizations for the latest releases.
