"Infinite Ice" Machine for CPU Cooling Assembled by Tech YouTuber

In a world where water cooling has become commonplace, a popular tech blogger decided to go all-in and take the idea to the point of absurdity. At the heart of the new experiment was an attempt to cool a modern, hot processor using an "infinite ice cycle" system. And, surprisingly, it worked.

The essence of the project was to create a closed loop where a portable ice maker unit was used instead of a conventional radiator. The machine continuously produced ice cubes, which fell into a reservoir with coolant, instantly dropping its temperature. As the ice melted, excess water was drained from the system, and new batches of ice maintained extreme cold in the loop.

The main challenge was to synchronize the ice melting rate with the processor's power under load so that the system wouldn't turn into just a puddle of water.

The test results were impressive — even under extreme stress testing, the processor temperature was maintained at a level unattainable for the most expensive liquid cooling systems.

Nevertheless, the creator honestly admitted that such a setup is more of an engineering art object than a practical solution. The main enemies of the "infinite ice" were condensation, which could short-circuit the motherboard at any moment, and the incredible noise from the constantly running ice maker.
