Reikon Games has opened registration for the closed pre-alpha of the cyberpunk action title Ruiner 2. Testing runs Apr 27–May 4, and spots are strictly limited.
Players are headed back to Rengkok — a neon metropolis where corps have privatized even death. The standout mechanic is Shells: the hacker protagonist can control up to three fighters and swap between them mid-combat, which lets you juggle roles in ways that feel less like picking a class and more like reconfiguring one on the fly. The skill-dev system aims to alter how abilities work (not just tweak numbers), so expect familiar archetypes to behave oddly — sometimes brilliantly, sometimes messy.
Devs also announced 3-player co-op, deep crafting with unpredictable modifiers, and challenging endgame content. Miss the first wave? There will be additional playtest sessions before the official release.
