The popular adventure game series Onimusha is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Capcom has shared celebratory art with fans, featuring iconic enemies from various installments of the series.

The new installment in the series, subtitled Way of the Sword, is set for release in 2026. This marks the first full-fledged Onimusha game in many years. The developers promise the longest adventure yet and linear level-based locations. A fresh trailer for the game was shown at the Capcom Tokyo Game Show 2025 presentation.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword does not yet have a precise release date. The game is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
