Bolt Graphics Promises a Revolution: Zeus Graphics Card 2.5x Faster than RTX 5090 in Path Tracing

Bolt graphics promises a revolution zeus graphics card 25x faster than rtx 5090 in path tracing

At CES 2026, the startup Bolt Graphics from Sunnyvale, California, presented an ambitious project — the ZEUS graphics architecture. The company's claims sound fantastic: their solution is allegedly capable of outperforming the flagship NVIDIA RTX 5090 by multiples while consuming significantly less power.

The single-chip model (Zeus 1C) allegedly provides 2.5 times higher performance in path tracing than the RTX 5090. The four-chip version (Zeus 4C) promises a tenfold increase. With such power, the Zeus 1C consumes only 225 W, while the RTX 5090 requires 575 W.

Zeus graphics cards will be equipped not only with built-in LPDDR5X memory (minimum 32 GB) but also with DDR5 SODIMM slots, allowing the video memory capacity to be expanded up to 384 GB. This makes them ideal for working with colossal datasets and rendering the most complex scenes.

In electromagnetic field simulation tasks, the Zeus 4C is allegedly 300 times faster than the professional accelerator NVIDIA B200 (Blackwell).
