The new trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok showcases Beatrix

Publisher Cygames and studio Cygames Osaka dropped a new trailer for the expansion Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok. It puts a playable character in the spotlight — Beatrix — voiced by Jennifer Losi in English (EN) and Aya Hirano in Japanese (JP).

The team also announced dates: the project will launch on July 9 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Before then, a closed beta is scheduled to run March 13–16.

Endless Ragnarok piles on fresh story content centered on the sky kingdom Zegagrande. Astral Lilith’s plots are behind the party, yet another menace emerges: mysterious entities called “Ragnalia,” said in legend to herald the world’s end. Gates begin to open, and the continent sees the return of Beelzebub — tensions ramp up quickly.

A notable gameplay addition is the summoning system. Players can equip and call forth creatures that alter tactical options; e.g., some summons allow temporary direct control, and under certain conditions a new chain attack — the “Primal Burst” — triggers (i.e., it links multiple moves into a single devastating sequence). Whether this shifts the game’s rhythm in welcome ways is likely to split opinions.

Cross-platform play is confirmed. Up to four players can join cooperative online battles across all platforms, which aims to make multiplayer more active — though cross-play always brings questions about matchmaking and latency.

Recall that Granblue Fantasy: Relink was released on PC, PS4, and PS5 on February 1. More than 1 million copies sold.
