Capcom Announces Exact Release Time for Resident Evil Requiem and Opens Pre-load
Just two days remain until the release of the ninth mainline installment in the Resident Evil series. Ahead of the launch, Capcom staff announced the exact launch time — Resident Evil Requiem will launch on consoles on February 27 at midnight local time, while PC players will have to wait until 08:00 Moscow Time. Pre-loading is already available on all target platforms except the Epic Games Store. At the same time, the developers warned that the game may require downloading a separate update at launch. As for final reviews from the media, they should appear very soon.
In Resident Evil Requiem, gamers will once again visit the destroyed Raccoon City 30 years after the bombing. The main story is divided into two interconnected campaigns with two protagonists — FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and our old acquaintance Leon Kennedy.
Resident Evil Requiem is announced for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with full Russian localization.
