Google has introduced the Nano Banana 2 neural network with search integration: when generating landmarks, the model queries Google for up-to-date references.

Nano Banana 2 has learned to correctly render text and translate inscriptions while preserving the font.

The model can hold up to five characters and 14 items in a scene in memory for creating storyboards.

The neural network is already integrated into Gemini, Search, and Google Ads, and is available via API with resolutions up to 4K.

All images are marked with the invisible SynthID watermark — the AI content verification function has been used over 20 million times.
