The BBC's mini-series "Lord of the Flies" has secured a premiere date—February 8, 2026—and a debut trailer, albeit a short one. The menu consists of four episodes, released weekly.
The cult novel by William Golding, which revealed how quickly sweet-looking children can transform without adult supervision, has been adapted for television by Jack Thorne ("The Accident", "His Dark Materials"). The show is directed by Marc Munden ("Utopia", "The Sympathizer"), and the main theme music is composed by Hans Zimmer.
Among the familiar faces is Lux Pratt (Draco Malfoy from HBO's "Harry Potter") in the role of Jack.
