AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 — A "Monster" with 192 MB of L3 Cache Spotted in Geekbench
Fresh leaks confirm the existence of a new version of AMD's flagship, likely named the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. The main feature of this chip is the presence of 3D V-Cache technology on both chiplets (CCDs), bringing the total volume of Level 3 (L3) cache to an impressive 192 MB.
Unlike the standard 9950X3D, where the additional cache is installed on only one CCD, the X3D2 version received two CCDs with massive cache. This gives the processor 192 MB of L3.
As a result, in this test, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 outperformed all user AMD solutions for the AM5 socket.
