Aloft survival game celebrates early access anniversary and shares development plans

Astrolabe Interactive has summed up the first year of early access for the survival simulator Aloft and presented its plans for 2026.

The game has received three major updates, adding unique islands, logic chains, and a technology tree.

The developers noted that the mechanics of living trees and wind paths have made movement between archipelagos more dynamic. The team has focused on key mechanics and optimization ahead of release. The next step will be the Gliders & Gales update on February 12, 2026, which will expand flight capabilities with redesigned gliders, aerial trials, and new equipment customization.

The studio will continue its dialogue with the community. The entire year of 2026 will be devoted to preparing for the exit from early access, with an emphasis on server stability and polishing the mechanics of exploring ancient ruins.
