Akira Yamaoka Composed a Track for Pathologic 3
The launch of Pathologic 3 is almost around the corner. To remind us of its upcoming release, the developers from Ice-Pick Lodge revealed an intriguing fact about the game — the renowned composer of the Silent Hill series, Akira Yamaoka, contributed to the soundtrack of the third installment.
Akira Yamaoka, the creator of the Silent Hill soundtrack, composed a track for Pathologic 3 about the Town-on-the-Gorkhon. It resonates beautifully with one of the most melancholic — or hopeful? — stories in the game.

According to the game's FAQ, Pathologic 3 will be released on January 9 at 19:00 Moscow time on PC (Steam). There are no pre-orders or pre-loads. Everyone who supported Pathologic 2 on Kickstarter or the "Threads" platform will receive a free copy of the sequel. A 20% launch discount will be available for others. The price, by the way, will only be revealed at launch.
Those wishing to support Ice-Pick Lodge can purchase a special version of Pathologic 3 with a digital soundtrack and cosmetic content. There are no specific details yet on the release time for the sequel on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
