Action RPG No Rest for the Wicked Receives Co-op Update and Free Weekend
The action RPG No Rest for the Wicked has become temporarily free on Steam until January 26. The promotion coincides with the release of the major "Together" update, which added the long-awaited four-player co-op to the game.
The new mode allows players to join a campaign at any time, even if its creator is offline. The gameplay has been specifically adapted for cooperative play: there are more enemies, and they are stronger.
The developers from Moon Studios called this work the most challenging update in the studio's entire history, as they needed to completely rebuild the game system to make co-op an organic and high-quality part of the experience, rather than just a formal addition.
Earlier in January, the studio reported that the game had already surpassed the milestone of 1 million copies sold.
