True Final Fantasy Fans Will Gather at Fan Festival in Late April
April 2026 promises to be a key month for the entire Final Fantasy franchise: that's when the annual Fan Fest dedicated to the future of the popular MMORPG kicks off.
The first stage will take place in Anaheim on April 24–25, followed by Berlin (July 25–26) and Tokyo (October 31 — November 1). At these venues, Square Enix will finally reveal the details of the next major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. Fans can expect new locations, raids, a fresh class, and the official name of the add-on.
Following the mixed reception of the post-release content for Dawntrail, the MMO is in desperate need of a powerful boost — and a new story with unexplored regions could bring back that very feeling of a grand adventure that players fell in love with back in the days of A Realm Reborn.
